Remastered Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers wasn't on. What gives?
Ok, I was a big fan of the show back in the day, so I was real hyped for the remastered version that aired earlier today. Sat down, ready to watch on ABC at 11:00 (Central Time), but to my dismay, it was replaced with some kids news show and football. I don't know if it makes a difference but... I live in Oklahoma with Cox as my cable provider. I checked on two TVs one with and one without a digital cable box. I didn't see it anywhere on the TV Guide either. Now, I know it was on becauseI've heard constant complaining from people who did watch it (I know they messed it up, but still... I'd like an explanation).
So is there any reason why it didn't come on? The other ABC Kids shows appeared to have come on prior, they just left out the premier of Power Rangers. Is it the channel? The cable provider? Anything?
You might've been in one of the areas where the local ABC station regularly pre-empted Power Rangers (whichever) for local programming...then again, it is the college football "bowl season" (the period at the end of the college football season where various regional championship games are played).
