Regular Rifle Scope

Regular Rifle Scope
Putting a rifle scope on a pellet gun?

A friend of mine just bought a pellet gun and it doesn't have a scope but he would like to buy one. I have 2 old scopes sitting around and I wanted to give him one. I thought that I read somewhere that you needed a special scope scope for air rifles but i'm not really sure. So if anyone knows if a regular rifle scope will work on a pellet gun that would be great.

That depends on the air rifle. You can put any scope you like on a co2, pump pneumatic or PCP(PreCharged Pneumatic)

If the air rifle(pellet gun) is a spring piston, then you must mount a scope that is rated to withstand their unique recoil.
