I tend to be a girly girl and spend most of my time shopping and getting my nails done, but I recently got my Dad a Ruger rifle with a nice Leupold scope and he wants me to hunt with him. I want to go into it as prepared as I can so I want to know what I will need. I already have a cute pair of camo capris if they work and I have an adorable pair of camo pumps. I know I will need a shirt, but will I also need anything else to help make the hunt successful? Also will the capris and pumps work or do I need to get something else? I just want to make this hunt a great time to show I'm his girl!
1. Wear shorter pants and a tank top; the ticks and deer flies will appreciate it.
2. Use lots of sweet smelling hair conditioner, so the no-see-ums and green flies can find you easier.
3. So glad you won't be wearing a hat. A sun burned face this year, helps pay for a swimming pool (for a dermatologist) in 20-30 years.
4. Remember, all pumps (worn in the woods) are an orthopedic surgeons favorite shoes; they allow you to trip and break your ankle with little or no effort (but with grace, I'm sure), in order to help him/her pay for that gas guzzling Hummer and the kids college.
5. Flowery perfume is a must!! It will help cover the smell of fear, when you see the rattler coiled and ready to strike.
6. Be sure to have a very large high fiber breakfast and 4 to 5 cups of coffee or hot tea, before the hunt!! Gotta' have that energy!!!
7. Oops! I almost forgot to tell you about the camoflouge toilet paper. The fashion police would be very upset, if you forgot that!!
