What is the best scope for my Ruger 10/22, for 100 yards and maybe more?
Also, will the scope rings that my rifle came with, work with any rimfire scope I buy? I'm looking to not spend more than $100.00.

A 3-9X40 scope would work just fine.... You can also get a decent scope for $100 for 100 yards shooting.... Yeah yeah yeah there are $500 scopes out there but your not trying to make 400 yard shots are you?..... $100 gets you a decent scope for 100 yard shooting...
Barska, BSA, Tasco and Bushnell all make a decent economy scope... I sure would not use one of these brands on a $1000 rifle chambered in 30-06 but for a .22 they are perfect....
