and im wondering if i may have to go as far as getting a new cylinder kit for it. if thats the case can i use the current head?
To be honest, Ive not had it long enough for me to tinker properly,theres plenty of power in it. but i will start with the petrol mix idea then work my way back to gasket stuff.
it's more than likely the clutch side crank seal, when this goes it pulls up oil from the gearbox by vacuum and makes that 'orrible 2 stroke smoke worse than it has to be ( i got thru 3 rabbits, 3 lambrettas and 7 vespas in 3 years) the job is fairly straightforward, i used to be able to strip my P225E engine, rebuild the gearbox (or whatever else i'd broken that week) without taking it out of the frame (i.e. not disconnecting any bloody cables) in about 3 hours anyway good luck and keep riding
