The mount you looked at is made for an ar type rifle. Definitely not for a 22lr.
The scope you plan to buy has mounts attached to it.
With scope in hand, loosen large lock nuts, the round things.
Spread free .clamp part.
Lightly test mount/fit on top of rifle into grooves, one clamp part on one side, the other on the other side.with scope facing forward. Look thru it determine front.
Put rifle up to shoulder.
View, aim at something far away, like 50 to 100 yards.
If you have to move your head to far forward or to far back to view. aim comfortably, you must move scope to view comfortably.
To do this, loosen screws holding scope to rings so scope will just slide easily.
Once again view thru scope
With cheek resting naturally on stock, push or pull scope until you can see comfortably all you can thru scope.
Make sure vertical line is just that. Straight up and down holding rifle level
Tighten screws.
Recheck your work.
You can now set scope cross hairs with optical collimator, lazer light sight zero set up, or by bore sighting, or by taking to gun range and sighting in by shooting at paper target.
