Seal Type Survival

Seal Type Survival
NAVY SEALS !!! Question about training?

Hey i really wana become a Navy SEAL. And i was wondering if SEALs go through SERE or some type of survival course ..... if they do could you please explain that a little bit .. Thanks

Also if any of you Are Navy SEALs or know much about them could you tell me if you think this is a good career choice and if becoming a SEAL is worth all the training
Yea i know all about BUD/s i watched BUD/s Class 234 and tons of video's on BUD/s

yes. they go through SERE. my friend who was in special warfare (SWCC, the "boat guys" who insert and extract the seal teams in hostile areas) who went through SERE said that there was 2 parts, the first simulates you being stranded behind enemy lines with virtually no resources and the instructors try to find you and "capture" you and you have to try to evade them. the second part simulates being in a POW camp where they teach you tactics of how to survive interrogation and try to escape. details are classified so you will have to wait and see, but expect to get smacked around a little and undergo some "Enhanced Interrogation Techniques"

From what I here though, that is the least of your problems. BUD/S is really really hard and most people quit. But all the SEALS i met in the navy were actually pretty nice guys and they all said if they had to BUD/S over again, they would because they love their jobs so much.

Thats all I know.
