To anyone who has read the book Kira Kira?
My teacher made me write a poem for it. What do you think?
Kira-Kira, glitter and shine.
Take my hand if you are blind.
I'll show you what Kira-Kira means,
So come, I'll lead you to the sea.
Or I'll tell about your eyes,
A mystery wrapped up in disguise.
They are such an iridescent blue,
As if I could fall and drown in you.
Kira-Kira, fragile yet bold.
Life is new until you're told
That you're just tissues in the wind,
Soiled sheets who've learned to sin.
It is silk in a cotton field.
She was too soft to be appealed.
I remember her, she left her treads,
What remains of her is only threads.
Kira-Kira, glitter and shine.
The hardest word to be defined.
If you still wonder, I'll reply,
"Go on an endless walk into the sky."
i think its good
