870 stock for my wingmaster 16gauge?
can a 870 stock for a 12 gauge fit a 16 u see last year sum1 broke inton my cousins house and stole all his guns and the guy who stole them put them under a pine tree ive cleaned it well but i want to get a new stock and forend and a new vent rib barrel with multiple chokes cause mine is from the 60s and if i ever sell it itll be all original +new parts but i probly will never sell it since it was a gift
It should work, but if you can find one to "try before you buy" that would be best. Couldn't you just call a Remington Service Center and get a factory replacement set for the 16ga. Also try Brownells Inc. or MidwayUSA, and if all else fails try Wenig Custom Stocks. Barrels might not be as easy to find as they once were, but try Vintage Barrels or Numrich Gun Parts Corp. They should all be on the 'net. Remington did make a point of saying the new run of 16 ga. shotguns would be compatible with the older ones and vice-versa, so new parts should work fine.
