What car should i get out of these?
I will be getting my first car in 2 years and i am wondering what car i should get, knowing that no new cars that will come out will be in my price range i decided to do some research and get more of any idea.
My price range- $10,000 to $20,000
- Dont worry about driving experience, ive raced karts and other race cars my whole life and have 4 quads
Needs:
- I play lots of basketball so i need room in the back to keep my stuff such as ball, shoes, and other stuff.
- Im gonna be driving two other kids to school when im a senior so i need the space plus i want a bigger sized car
-I like to listen to my music loud and pumping, i would like a nice stock sound system, possibly getting it upgraded
Heres to cars- (Prices will drop by then)
2003-2005 Range Rover HSE
Toyota FJ Cruiser- Year ??
2004? Escalade
2005 BMW 330Ci
Or any suggested cars? WHat should i look into more?
-Thanks
Definitely stay away from the FJ Cruiser, it doesn't sound like you're going to do any off-roading, and overall it's a horrible vehicle for a family.
With the Range Rover, again, it doesn't sound like you're gonna do much off-roading. Also, Range Rover's especially of that era weren't known for their reliability, quite the opposite actually.
With the Escalade, that one's a toss-up it's basically a Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon, so why not go for one of those (less expensive/more reliable/rugged). Otherwise, that's a pretty good car.
BMW is a nice choice, but why not go for a sedan version?
How about at Cadillac CTS from those years. Those were great cars performance-wise, and they're sedans. Not too bad on fuel either.
Have you looked at the 2008 Chevy Malibu or 2008 Ford Fusion those were both great cars, the Malibu beats the import competition overall. And both can easily be had for less that $20,000. The Malibu has a pretty nice stock stereo.
