Airsoft help please!?
Ok so I am goIng tO this airsoft place for my first time. I have medium money and need good advice what to get. Not for a airsoft gun because I already have 300 dollar one. I am looking for what to get for tactical gear to make me look Pro. Should I get tactical vest or plate carrier? Helmet? Knee pads? Boots? Elbow pads? Tactical gloves? Just recommend me stuff so I look pro. And anyone got a opinion on the best attachment? Please leave a good comment. Thank You!
I suggest you try to look less like 'pro' and just buy what you feel you need and make additions as you get deeper into your play-style. It doesn't matter if you look like a 'pro' it matters on how well you play; people would give more kudos to a person wearing jeans and using a springer pistol that killed half the enemy team than a fully decked out Systema-weilding individual who did nothing.
If this is your first load-out I suggest you go with something on the cheaper and more adaptable side until you learn what you like and need from a vest. A plate carrier or a MOLLE vest are both good starting ideas and form a good base unit. Helmet? I would forego it. Knee Pads? Not unless you hit the deck often. Boots? Boots are a necessity for playing anywhere. Make sure you pick boots that are above the ankle for ankle support! Elbow Pads? I find these to be unnecessary unless you like to dive, which I don't see often. Tactical Gloves? Possibly. If you fight in close ranges I would suggest getting some chopped gloves to protect your knuckles. Getting shot in the knuckles or fingernail hurts a lot. I do not personally use gloves because I usually shoot at range and I like to maintain maximum grip on my rifle.
For starters I suggest you purchase MOLLE-based equipment and get some of the necessary pouches to hold magazines, ammunition, hydration, etc.
What the vest-system actually looks like depends on personal factors. Right or Left handed shooter, play-style (Long range, mid range, CQC), and some personal preference.
For instance, I use a system that is very light. I use a MOLLE battle belt attached to an H-harness. This gives me MOLLE webbing around my waist for the majority of my pouches such as my pistol holster, grenade pouches, magazine and ammunition pouches. Then the H-harness has MOLLE webbing on both my shoulders and on my back. I have my silicon bayonet on my left shoulder and a radio pouch on my right. On the back I have a hydration carrier for water. In a combination with my M-14 rifle and my play-style you can see I am (preferably) a midrange to long range shooter. In that case I would like to be lying prone and my MOLLE rig adapts to that by having minimal pouches on my front so I can lay down. In contrast, most people who use plate carriers and full vests rarely will lie down because their rig is adapted to standing up or kneeling/crouching.
If you are looking for just a vest to get you started and you usually run/stand/crouch/kneel, then you should look at something like this:

It has MOLLE webbing almost around the entire vest so you can attach a lot of different pouches. There are different colors available, but I will just link you to OD green equipment, if you type the name into ASGI search you can see all the color options available.

This pouch can keep your magazines and some ammunition. Very large and can accommodate a lot of equipment.

Hydration carrier with hydration bladder. Can hold upwards of two liters of water so you can stay hydrated while on the field. My field requires that you have some sort of water on your person during play, I would check your field rules.

If you need more storage space for misc items or more ammunition, I would suggest you look at the variety of utility pouches.

My field requires that I have a radio in case of emergencies. However, it is always good to have constant communication with your team! If you have a handheld radio, or are going to buy one, I suggest you buy one of these as well. Keeps your radio protected and on your person at all times.
I have videos about most of the products I listed for you, here are the corresponding videos!

If you want me to design you a MOLLE vest system and this information is not enough, just contact me with your budget, your play-style, and what you are looking to get out of the vest. Make sure you look at the field rules for mandatory equipment. I hope this answer points you in the right direction!
