Can the Magpul Multi-Mission Sling System attach onto the Canon 550D/T2i's sling mounts?
I am considering getting the Magpul MS2 to replace the stock sling that came with the EOS 550D / Digital Rebel T2i. Before investing 50 dollars on the sling, I'd like to know if the DSLR camera's sling mounts will accept the sling's attach points.
Don't ask as to why I want the Magpul MS2 on the DSLR.
I just wanted it to look tactical,
and a Crye Multicam coating on the camera will come next.
By "sling" I'm assuming you're talking about what we would call a neck strap.
You'll have to check the measurements of the attachment points. Too wide, of course they won't fit.
Seems as simple as that to me. I know nothing about the brand in question but I just looked it up on the web. From what I can see the attachments are metal and I'd suspect to thick to go through the attachment points.
Why not get a couple of key rings, attach them to the camera and then the strap to the rings.
