PAINTBALL: Would I look like an idiot with this gun and this gear?
Hey, I'm thinking of getting a new paintball gun (it'll be my second, I'm stepping up from a beginner gun to a medium/intermediate gun) and I'm thinking of the BT-4 Combat... but would I look like an idiot if I had that gun with very expensive gear such as a seventy dollar combat tactical vest, a battle dress uniform, leather combat boots, a balaclava under my mask, padded half gloves, and a PASGT (kevlar-style) tactical helmet? if I would, what other gun should I buy that's around the same price (I could probably do about $250, but I'd really rathe not spend all of it...)
ANYWAY, if you could help me out, I'll pick the best answer for the best answer I see, if I see more than one in the same day. anyway, pleaasseeeee help, I really need this answered!

To answer your question no you'll look fine. Just don't get too hot!
I'd like to ask what you're running now? Sorry to say the BT-4 isn't much of a step up from anything. I'd say save your money for something that really kicks rears like an Invert Mini or a Proto Matrix Rail. Both are accurate, light, and fast and will put you head and shoulders above most milsim markers. Best of all is that they're reasonably priced. New ones cost about $300-$400 but a used one off of craigslist will usually cost about $200.
Seriously hit the fields and talk to the better players. Get to feel and try out their markers to see what you like. I was all about milsim until I shot the Invert Mini. The difference is night and day.
