Will the thermal lens on my paintball mask be ruined if I let paint sit on it over night?
I have the 09 empire events with the stock (clear) lens. I had no time to clean my lens after paintballing yesterday so I let it sit overnight. I had gotten the majority of the paint wiped off yesterday, and everything is clean now, but I am still a little worried that some of the thermal coating will be ruined. I am pretty sure that one night could not do that much damage, and I was planning on getting a smoke lens anyway, but any input would be much appreciated.
No they won't. I sometimes don't clean my mask until the day before I go out and it's never affected my vision. Also, paintballs don't actually use paint so you won't need to do any scraping or anything with a paint thinner.
