I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE HAD ANY INFO ON MORE BEING AVAILABLE AND WHEN IF NOT WHERE. MAYBE ONE SITTING AT SOMEONES GUN SHOP? ALL I CAN GATHER IS THAT SAVAGE MADE A LIMITED RUN, NOT DISCONTINUED, AND THERE WAITING FOR SOME ODD REASON TO PUT OUT ANOTHER RUN. ALSO, I GATHER FROM THE NET AND OTHER PLACES AS WELL THAT THERE IS QUITE A WAITING LINE FOR THIS PARTICULAR MODEL. THANK YOU FOR EVERYONES INPUT.
SInce you seem set on aquiring this exact model, your best bet would be to go to http://www.gunbroker.com and run a search under the modern rifle section. This would at least give you a list of dealers who carry Savage rifles. From there you could contact said dealers thru the website until you found your particular "dream" rifle, or found the closest dealer who would order one. All dealers on Gunbrokers will ship between FFL holders at a nominal fee.
