New Stock for my old Rifle?
I have a Sears and Roebuck Model 53 in 30-06. I would like to put a Boyds thumbhole or varmiter stock on it. If I was to get the one for Winchester 70 would it fit? Or Would it come the closest and I would have to customize it to fit the Sears 53?
To the best of my researching ablility I have found them to be the same rifle. The Boyds is a sweet stock too, you'll really enjoy it.
