I jusr purchased the pretty boy pretty girl decoy kit and am wondering how to place the hen on the ground. In the instructional dvd it shows them put a rock in it but the one I got has no cavity for a rock please help
I found how to set it on the ground. I set the tom 7 feet from the laying down hen and 4 feet from a standing hen. went turkey hunting and it didnt work like in the dvd I had 3 jakes close to the size of toms to my right and dead in front of me over a hill I could hear a nother tom coming well the jakes where making there way to the other tom and then backed off well 5 minuets late the tom I could hear apeared from over the hill I know he saw the decoys but he didnt run in on them he just gobbled and strutted in circles. When I thought he wasnt going to come down I shot him at 65yards then ran on top of the hill and put two more in him before he could get away he wayed 21 1/4 pounds
