Top Radiator hose blew in car. I replaced it and added anti-freeze. then drove about an hour to circulate but.?
My temp gauge is still moving around randomly. Whenever i turn on heat specifically. Before it blew whenever i turned on heat my gauge would climb to the red them cold air would start coming out of my vents. Then once i turned it off it would go back down. then my hose blew. Now its doing that again.
If its an over heating problem it could be.bad water pump, bad radiator cap or plugged radiator,plugged heater core if you aren't getting any heat inside the car, or a cracked head gasket. to tell that wait till the car is cold, remove the radiator cap, fill it up. then start the car, If the antifreeze starts to boil/ bubble out of the radiator you have a cracked head gasket. also if the water pump is bad while the cap is off and the car heats up you should be able to see the coolant flow thru the radiator. if it doesn't and after its hot pump is bad
