Civil Air Patrol Gear?
Is it me, or does it seems like a lot of enlisted members in CAP wear Y harnesses attached to a pistol belt as far as gear goes? Well, what gear do you recomend an enlisted cadet should wear for a 24-hour pack? All I have right now is some wierd M81 Woodland BDU bag/backpack thing.
It depends on if you are looking for comfort or price. Military surplus is cheap, can be found almost anywhere, and it usually looks pretty cool. Modern military gear or camping/hunting supplies will probably feel very comfortable, could look a little out of place, and will cost more. It will most likely last longer though. What it comes down to is function, fashion, and personal choice. It's up to you.
