I have a functioning Kar98 Rifle from WWII, and would like to get a new stock so I can preserve the original, as it still carries the original Nazi stamps, and it also has been field repaired by the look of it in some places (replacement wood squares that fill in old gaps in the stock).
My only problem is, I am having a hard time finding a wood stock that is modeled after the rifle I have. Also, the stocks I do see that are wooden show they are made for a "Mauser 98"- is this for the Kar98, as I know that they technically ARE Mausers, but are they built to house a Kar98 Rifle?
I also need to know a place online that sells Kar98 stripper clips and a sling, preferrably one that looks or is from that era.
Oh, and one more thing... I am also interested in purchasing a scope for a Kar98, modeled after the ones they used in WWII, not the adapters and what not from today that you can use any scope with, I am going for accuracy, not convenience.
